Is Yoga An Anti-Christian Practice? – TIME NewsFeed – OrganizedWisdom Health

A news opinion article suggests that Dr. R. Albert Mohler, Jr.
president of the Southern Baptist Theological Seminary
believes “yoga” is in direct conflict with the values of “Christianity”.

But Dr. Mohler is certainly no authority on yoga philosophy, nor its practice.
Yoga refers to the integral oneness of being;
seen as liberation from our delusion of spiritual separateness;
thus healing the wound of our spiritual blindness.

When Jesus said “I and my father are one” he was crucified;
because those who were blinded by ignorance could not perceive the implication;
that all children hold the birth right of their father.
Therefore with true spiritual understanding one realizes Jesus, as Christ,
was indeed one of the great yogis of all time.

Therefore neither can I accept any proclamation that Dr. Mohler
is an authority on the Nature of Christ and therefore True Christianity.
The unfounded assumption, that Churches,
which “co-op and brand” the name of “Christianity”,
speak with the authority of Christ is totally unwarranted.

A great Yogi once said;
Jesus Christ was crucified once in Jerusalem,
but his teachings are crucified everyday
by those who claim to speak in his name.

Only those who truly heal wounds of the soul
may proclaim to be doctors of divinity;
and you will know them by their deeds.
