What Am I Here For?
Like each of us, I owe something for the gifts which life has offered me. I’d like to repay my part for what it’s worth; having had opportunities to consider and at times apply the balm of Ageless Wisdom teachings, which the greatest hearts of all have offered us; the most precious treasure, beyond measure. May we hope is to somehow offer each other that opportunity; to express our hearts highest and deepest yearning.
Let us be happy to offer each, in any way, even a single meaningful moment. I couldn’t hope for more; that is exactly what I dream of in this life. That is how it happens; as a yearning arising in the heart; as a wish to offer something meaningful. I know one thing; whatever we are here to do, we are here to share, and in sharing we are together and that is most meaningful; for it is our purpose & salvation to become complete in what we share. True compassion is a higher form of love, not just to find happiness, but to know it’s true cause & to help see it shared everywhere. There is no goodness apart from our own hearts love. That is what we are here for.
It’s true all motive springs from self interest & that is why we should seek to align our own self interest with the well-being of each other & all life. Love can be many things, including passion & desire. Let this be our blessing to have a passion for caring compassion. ~ The universal heart of being yearns for happiness, always seeking what it finds most attractive. Even gravity itself is a kind of love, without it there is no power to create.
The society we live in is structured on quite a different foundation. Capitalism has become merely materialism because it has valued money above all; and this is a false value because the things most important in our lives are priceless; Air, water, health, safety, relationship, growth, love & wisdom. A culture of materialism binds us to false hopes, which supports a largely impersonal life, with a price on everything. In this way we become isolated from each other; putting a subconscious price on what each one has to offer, we effectively become captive dependents of false values.
In our hearts we know this, because we feel the wounds of our dissatisfaction, which materialism further exploits, offering false remedies for our condition. Money has become the universal drug we have been pushed to abuse, to be dependent upon and enslaved to. If we are ever to be free of our bondage we must deny giving power to our delusions, and acknowledge the power of our hearts true aspiration.
Awakening to our true highest values we become trustworthy fearless compatriots, truly serving our wholesome best interest; healing the wounds of our separateness and dissatisfaction. This is why I feel obligated to promote ideals of spiritual living, which by feeling I have come to call A Rosemont Way, of universal fellowship & life’s temple, spiritual community, which I call A Rosemont Fellowship. This I know is what I wish to offer, only you know what is received; and what you are here for.
